The Avnet Memec RD71051 (USART), RD71054 (Programmable Timer/Counter), RD71055 (Programmable Parallel Interface) and RD71059 (Programmable Interrupt Controller) devices come in RoHS compliant QFP packages and are direct replacement for the discontinued parts. Additionally Avnet Memec guarantees a long time availability, worldwide logistic service and support for these devices.
