With the A3901, Allegro has surpassed their thermal efficiency, by delivering 400mA per bridge (800mA if paralleled).
As a first device in a series of new motor drivers developed for designing space and power constrained applications, the A3901 excels with a 50nA typical power down current (100nA max).
The operating voltage ranges from 2,5V to 5,5V, making the device ideal for both standard 5V applications, or lower voltage (portable) applications.
