The MAX15041 evaluation kit (EV kit) is a fully assembled and tested circuit board that evaluates the MAX15041 synchronous buck converter IC with integrated high-side and low-side switches; the board employs the Coilcraft MSS1048-472NLB 4.7FH, 6.4A inductor.
The EV kit output is configured to 3.3V and delivers up to 3A output current. The EV kit circuit operates at the MAX15041 internally set 350kHz switching frequency and features PCB pads to monitor the IC power-good output signal (PGOOD) and to enable the circuit.
The MAX15041 EV kit requires a 4.5V to 28V power supply that provides up to 3A for normal operation.
The evaluation kit ships with Coilcraft USB memory stick containing all relevant documentation.
