Following the recent acquisition of the PXA processor line from Intel, Marvell confirms and further strengthens the product development by combining the acquired technologies with the Marvell ones.

 
Current product portfolio includes the entry level PXA255, the multimedia oriented PXA270 and the new generation high performance PXA 320/310/300 series (Development code name "Monahans"), based on a 90nm technology process, allowing improved power and performances at a lower platform costs and higher function integration.

The PXA product family architecture is designed for great performances, low cost, platform re-use, energy efficiency, enhanced multimedia, and to continuously improve performance/power ratios.

The Marvell® PXA320/310/300 family of application processors is a flexible, reliable platform model that provides customers the ability to chose from a broad range of features to meet the requirements for a variety of devices and markets.  Based on third generation of Intel® XScale technology the Marvell PXA3xx family of application processors was designed for cost efficiency by offering a broad roadmap that is architecturally consistent for maximum software reuse. Marvell silicon provides the headroom for advanced applications with intelligent power management allowing manufacturers to differentiate current and future offerings.
