Maxim's IEEE® 802.3af/at-compliant products for power-sourcing equipment (PSE) and powered devices (PDs) provide an end-to-end PoE solution. Besides meeting the IEEE standard and ensuring interoperability, Maxim’s PSE products are rated for 80V (absolute maximum rating). PD products are rated for 100V to ensure robustness.

Some applications require power levels above the standard (PoE+). Maxim also offers PSE and PD solutions that provide up to 70W. To help speed your design to market, Maxim offers a variety of completely tested PoE reference designs for PSE and PD products.
