The μPD720102 USB2.0 high speed host controller is the second product in NEC Electronics’ successful ECOUSBTM series of devices, which are compliant with the RoHS environmental directive. To meet the increasingly sophisticated needs of industrial and digital consumer applications the PD720102 is now available in a smaller 121-pin FBGA package (8 mm x 8 mm), significantly downsized from its previous 120-pin TQFP package (14 mm x 14 mm).
