Space saving Microcontroller for sensor applications

Within many applications the need for reduced space is increasingly becoming the top priority. This fact is especially true when looking at the many varied sensor markets. Whether it is a temperature sensor within a buildings heating system, a position sensor within an industrial production line or a sensor for healthcare monitors, the need for minimal space is a continuing trend. For increased performance and lower power consumption the space saving 4 mm x 4 mm 36-pin KB2 and 5 mm x 5 mm 64-pin KE2 fine pitch land grid array (FPLGA) packages have been released.
