Semtech RClamp0524S - Low Capacitance TVS-Diode Array for PoE

The RClamp0524S was designed to address the need for protection on Power over Ethernet interfaces when protection on the line side is necessary. This is becoming more and more often an application requirement for PoE compliance. The RClamp0524S expands Semtech’s portfolio of protection for Ethernet interfaces, particularly for applications that need to be compatible for Power over Ethernet connectivity. It offers a package that has the TVS diodes split so that there is no possibility of a DC voltage across the TVS devices, enabling a single device for robust PoE protection.
