Wavecom introduces Fastrack GO Plug and Play GSM/GPRS modem

Fastrack GO provides GSM/GPRS connectivity to any machine, with EDGE and HSPA versions to follow in the future. Offering the ultimate in Plug & Play installation, Fastrack GO plugs into any device and is then ready to make the cellular connection. It is one of the world’s smallest ready-to-go cellular modems. Fastrack GO comes in two different configurations, enabling you to choose either RS232 or USB interconnectivity.
Fastrack GO is positioned in the entry level / bit pipe category of the already existing Fastrack family.
Beyond existing Plug-and-Play Family, there is a need for a simple ready-to-go modem to provide data services (GPRS / CSD) to machines already installed on field and which require wireless connectivity (POS, Gambling, set top box…).
Fastrack GO is available in 2 versions
- Fastrack GO USB
- Fastrack GO RS232.
