EZRadioPRO at the lowest overall system cost

The EZRadioPRO family is targeted at high-performance wireless applications with the industry’s best Rx sensitivity (–118 dBm) and highest output power (up to +20 dBm).   The on-chip antenna diversity algorithm offers additional link performance improvements in multi-path and fade conditions.  Built-in wake-up timer, low battery detector, temperature sensor, general purpose ADC, Tx/Rx FIFOs, power-on-reset (POR) and GPIOs remove external components and reduce the system MCU complexity.  Continuous frequency coverage from 240-960MHz allows the device to support licensed-band operation and non-standard frequency plans.

EZRadioPRO’s high-level of integration greatly reduces the overall system cost and BOM component count versus competing designs.  The high-efficiency +20 dBm on-chip PA can reduce the BOM cost by USD$0.50–USD$1.00 versus designs requiring an external PA.  The devices comply with FCC and ETSI requirements when used in any of the standard ISM bands.  Only a 30 MHz crystal and a limited number of external passive matching components are required making the device ideal for high volume applications where size and cost are critical. Support for TX frequency hopping allows customer applications to transmit at maximum power for increased range while still meeting the FCC output power requirements. 

The EZRadioPRO family incorporates a high performance ADC and digital modem which performs demodulation, filtering, and packet handling in the digital domain resulting in increased performance and flexibility.
