The prioritised market segments are Automotive and Communications. The business is focused on selling and developing antenna products for the OEM and aftermarket. Smarteq has its own resources for product development, sourcing and sales. Production is mainly outsourced to partners in Europe and Asia. The company has amassed an extensive experience and high competence in antenna technology through the acquisition of the antenna companies Carant AB, Allgon Applicatinon and  Automotive Division and Svenska Antennspecialisten AB.

Smarteq has more than 20 years’ experience of antennas and one of the most valid worldwide customers like Volvo, Volkswagen, Audi, Bentley. For the Smart Metering, Smarteq is the leading antenna company which only in Sweden provided more than 1.5 million antennas during the roll out project 2007-2008.
