ZiLOG has released their newest Motor Control firmware.
ZiLOG now offers the ONLY 8bit MCU able to perform Vector Control. This capability allows you to dramatically cut costs on a motor control project. Instead of having to use a costly DSP and other external components - ZiLOG's FMC16100 Motor Control MCU - with its highly integrated set of peripherals can do it all. At roughly ½ the price of today's current solutions!
With the integrated OpAmp and comparator the Z8FMC family delivers a more complete system solution on-chip. Combined with the vector or field oriented control firmware, you can achieve a far better scalability of the design, and ultimately increase the overall motor lifetime.
