Audio Solutions

A/D and D/A Converters
A wide variety of high precision 24-bit converters, offering flagship performance and high levels of integrations for cost-effective system designs.

Audio DSPs
Portfolio of audio-optimized 32-bit solutions that provide superior processing performance and software features, with a focus on reducing overall system costs. Industry standard audio algorithms and innovative software solutions provide additional value. 

CODECs
A broad family of high-precision 24-bit CODECs, ranging from low-power stereo ICs to advanced solutions for multichannel surround-sound.

Timing
A new family of clocking devices based on a unique hybrid analog-digital pll, providing both frequency synthesizer/clock generator from a stable clock reference and clock multiplication/jitter reduction from a noisy clock source. Another unique attribute is the ability to generate jitter-free clocks relative to noisy input clocks at frequencies as low as 50 Hz.

Industrial Products

Cirrus Logic’s industrial product range has a long history and is well-respected in the market.  Their high-precision A/D converters are based on the company’s proprietary Delta Sigma and SAR technologies, and are recognized for their superior performance and features, designed for applications such as industrial process control, analytical instruments, consumer utility, digital power meters and seismic systems. The Apex Precision Power division adds products for the control side of applications to that, while the latest products progress into the energy conversion market, with Power Factor Correction IC’s as the initial offering.

NEW – Digital Power Factor Correction
Brand new in Cirrus Logic’s strategy for the energy markets, are the first products in a comprehensive roadmap of power factor correction IC’s, addressing applications up to 300W.
The unique digital architecture allows noise shaping, reducing EMI, and component size, while eliminating a large amount of external passive components.

Apex Precision Power
The APEX Precision Power division offers a complete range of high precision power amplifiers, that come in three flavours - monolithic IC’s, hybrid modules or open frame modules - and two technologies: operational amplifiers and PWM amplifiers, offering high power handling capabilities, up to 1200V or 50A, in various speed gradings, up to 3000V/µs.
Recently added to that are high power monolithic motor control IC’s (60V, up to 8A continuous) and high precision voltage references.

Power Measurement
A broad family of Analog Front End ICs targeted for single- and three-phase power measurement applications, offering unsurpassed linearity, very complete calculation engines if necessary and flexible interfaces, compliant with region-specific requirements.

Geophysical
A wide range of high-precision ICs, including A/D converters, test DACs, modulators, amplifiers and filters for marine and land seismic exploration systems.

Data Acquisition
Low drift, best integral and differential linearity, highest noise-free bitcount and excellent 50/60Hz rejection are what these high-precision A/D convertors offer, typically for precise measurement in scientific and industrial applications.
